For phone and computer repair shops
Publish what each repair costs, sell parts and accessories from one stock, and keep every device you sell by its serial number or IMEI.

What a repair shop switches on
Four parts, each kept on the same records as the till and your website.
Repair prices
A price list of your jobs, such as a screen or a battery for each model, per job or per unit, published in the public catalogue so a website you already have can show it.
Parts and accessories
Sold at the till and online from one count, with low-stock levels and purchase orders to your suppliers.
Devices one by one
Each phone or laptop you sell has its own serial number or IMEI, grade, price, facts and photos. Scan the IMEI and the till finds it.
Buying devices in
Grades, buy prices and grading questions, in the public catalogue, so a website built on it can show a seller your price before they come in.

Questions
Can customers book a repair online?
Not yet. Appointments are coming. Today your price list is in the public catalogue, so a website built on it can show each repair and its price.
Can the till find a phone by its IMEI?
Yes. Scan or type the serial number or IMEI and the till finds that one phone, with its own price.
Can I track a repair from drop-off to collection?
Not yet. Job tracking is not built, and nor is charging for a job straight from the price list. To charge for a repair today, sell it at the till as an item whose stock is not counted.
Can I sell refurbished phones online with their grade?
Yes. Each phone is kept as itself, with its grade, price, facts and photos, and your website lets the customer choose the condition.

A test shop is free. Nothing in it is real: no money moves, and it never emails a customer. You pay only once a shop takes real money.
